Hi there! Thanks for visiting the YAGADA website. I'm Gabriel, the founder of YAGADA. At the moment, YAGADA is not a registered company and not incorporated. That's why we call ourselves a studio. Nontheless, we're still working on Operation Sunset, our debut title. Hope you enjoy our future work! - Gabriel @ YAGADA

Gabriel (b. November 5, 2009) is a Portuguese creative director, designer, and the founder of YAGADA, a multidisciplinary tech and entertainment studio. Known for his work in game development and digital storytelling, Gabriel has contributed to a range of projects, including early work in Roblox development and the upcoming narrative-driven title Operation Sunset. With a skill set spanning creative direction, UI/UX, and front-end programming, he leads YAGADA’s vision across games, software, and interactive experiences.

History

Gabriel was born on November 5, 2009. He began Roblox development in around May or June 2018. Gabriel began The Gabriel Group around December 2020, a Roblox studio that made small projects like Animatronic Tycoon, Gabriel's Pizza World and Boss Minigames: The Sequel.

Gabriel founded the YAGADA studio unofficially in April 2023. Initially, it was made as a household name for his personal projects, but later decided to expand his vision and use it as his own game development studio, inviting key members such as Dani with him in the studio.

While not publicly known, Gabriel is obsessed with further company expansion and vision. As stated by him,

"I would love to be able to make more outside of videogames. Software, an ecosystem, a reputable name. Begin with videogames, expand further with software, land with hardware and software combined."

Gabriel has been friends with Dani for at least 10 years now.

His vision

Hi everyone!

This is a space I want to use to demonstrate my vision, my ideas as an individual with a story to tell.

YAGADA is a part of me. So I wanted to share with all of you, including people who hate me for a living if there are any, my brainstormed ideas and a vision for the future of this studio, or as I'd like to call it, a company.

This would never, ever be possible without others, so I'd like to personally thank Dani and Colin for being a part of this.

First, I'd like to warn you that my ideas are just purely fictional, but I'd very much like them to be true. I am aware that I need to focus fully on the debut title and not these, but not letting these ideas flow could also kill Operation Sunset entirely.

Now, here's what I have to present. Let me begin with the yServices, or Y-Services, an ecosystem made for everyone. Here's all of it:

  • Center - An AIO (all-in-one) purpose-built marketplace and content library. Initially, I was scared that it would be a jack of all trades but master of none (have everything but not be good at any one) but since then I've thought a lot about being able to incorporate a library like Steam and iTunes (as it should have) and build each section thoughtfully, with a direction in art as well.
  • Create - An Adobe rival, module-based that allows you to be able to create any content you would love to. It would require a lot of hours of work to be able to compete against Adobe while being module-based and for everyone, but it would be one hell of a friendly platform for creators, by creators.
  • Board - The ultimate productivity tool! Would also be module-based to please everyone, however main modules would be simple like a calendar, to-do, notes, custom SCHEDULES and even full team-based work boards (see?).
  • Daily - The ultimate AFK dashboard. You would be able to set up Daily easily on a TV, a phone, a tablet or even on your computer. It's meant to be idle, display you any information, sitting there in the background while you do other things. Daily would be have a grid system for module-like widgets, could be a clock, could be a music controller, could also be the news. Anything can be put on the screen. It's like a screen saver but even better. It would be made for anyone, in offices, houses, prisons even.
  • Hardware

Hardware is where I put my bet all in. There's a lot I'd love to invest my time in, including home consoles and computers. But primarily, here's everything you should know about my brainstorms:

  • Matrix - Complete prototype name, ignore the name for now. Thought it sounded good for now. The Matrix would be a home console with our productivity vision/operating system in mind. Primary features would be a smaller 20% cut, expansive SDK for developers, cheap servers for developers to use to host their servers on, and a 299$ price tag. I also have in mind for SteamOS compatibility, and being able to change between operating systems more easily. Give the people an option. MatrixOS.
  • Matrix Go - A portable version, made with the Steam Deck shape in mind, but smaller. While transportation is in mind, we care more about ergonomics and performance. A cutesy little product!
  • Yuno - Another prototype name, this time generated by AI. Anyways, this one is a phone. Very distinguishable from other phones, as it uses a more rectangular shape and has the bottom part free for a home button. Why? Why would we return to an iPhone 5 shape and style? Because a lot of things are in mind, including one-hand use, portability, being able to fit it into pockets, but getting a good balance between a small enough phone to pocket, and big enough to use as a daily driver. Rocks the YunoOS.
  • Ark - A small Mac Mini-like computer, made with upgradability in mind. Rocks an ArkOS.
  • Pulse - One of my greatest (to-be) inventions yet, muahaha! Okay no, but still. A smartwatch. Made with quick interactivity, productivity, quality and our vision in mind just like the rest. A big screen, purpose-built, just like the Apple Watch.
  • Honorable mentions

    Quickact

While most of these ideas are massive and would require a lot of money, time and people, here are some smaller, more indie-like and even truly personal ideas I've thought of.

First of all, let me just say that when I have to convert a file, boy is it annoying. WEBP to PNG or AVIF to PNG. Or maybe you want to create a pie chart, or maybe statistics. Or maybe a quick convert. I've been thinking about it a lot, and honestly? Maybe I've got it.

Some of these can be more intensive than others, so it's module-first. It's easy to use, generic UI because you're not here for looks, you're here for smaller development or resources. It has a sidebar and a main window.

I call it Quickact. Select the module from the side, like a file converter, and use it as intended easily.

Or maybe you're wanting more? Click on the Store icon below and it'll bring you to a simple module page, open-source for everyone. A simple SDK would be available to use.

That's it. You can also right-click on a file, for example, and convert it to another format. That's just another idea.

    The End

Thanks for reading along! Excited for the future. Always have to look back to reflect, look forwards to progress.
